Returns & Cancellations

JHaanpi being true Indian at heart follows “ATHITHI DEVO BHAV” (guests are god). For us, the customer is above all.

We at JHaanpi follow a very stringent quality check process to ensure we provide customers with the genuine and highest quality products. We request you to go through few points before you decide to return or exchange: 

​

  1. All JHaanpi products are handmade by artisans/weavers based in remote villages in India. Hence the irregularity in stitches, colours and prints that you notice are not errors but characteristic of the hand crafted process, and the confirmation of authenticity. 

  2. We would also like to mention that the actual colors of the products can be a little different due to photographic lighting sources / settings on your monitor / phone screen. We do our best to share the closest real and natural pictures of all our products.

  3. A slight weaving/embroidery irregularities or small holes in fabric are an integral part of the handmade process and should not be considered as defects.

  4. It is important that you thoroughly read the product descriptions before placing an order.

  5. Items purchased at a discounted price or on Sale are not eligible for return.

JHaanpi provides a simple and convenient return policy. We would be more than happy to help in the case of  return of the products as per the details mentioned below.

Quality Check:

  • Before your parcel leaves our warehouse, it is fully checked by our Quality Control team. The images taken during the quality check procedure are stored with us till 24 hours after product delivery to you.

  • If you receive an item which is damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the product.

  • The products should be in unworn condition with all tags intact. 

 

 

Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation request if any needs to be placed within 24 hours of placing the order. Any cancellation request post 24 hours of placing order will not be considered or if order is already shipped. 

Return Policy

Products can be returned based on the following guidelines:

  1. In case of any return, the customer is requested to inform us at jhaanpi.ethnic@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery. Soon after a request has been initiated, a return period of 15 days is to be allocated to the registered request in which the goods must be returned to the seller to be eligible for return.

  2. JHaanpi holds the right to not accept the goods to be returned in the event that they have been damaged, worn out or otherwise altered or received in a condition different to how they were originally received by the customer.

  3. The products should be in unworn condition with all tags intact. 

  4. If you have received a defective or wrong product, it will be eligible for return/refund.

  5. Seller’s courier partner would pick up the goods upon receipt of return request by the buyer. The seller holds the right to not accept the returns in case the product is not returned to the seller’s delivery partner after 3 pickup attempts

  6. Return will not be applicable on products with minor irregularities with respect to stitches, printing and colour.

  7. Our products are packaged in secure tamper-proof packaging. If you find that the package is tampered with please do not accept delivery of the same from the carrier. Immediately contact us at jhaanpi.ethnic@gmail.com 

  8. Any or all products on clearance are not eligible for any return.

  9. We will initiate the refund once the returned product has reached our location. It may take 8-9 working days for processing the refund.

International Customers:

The below are return guidelines are specific to the orders placed by the customers based outside India:

  1. The cancellation request if any need to be placed within 24 hours of placing the order. Any cancellation request post 24 hours of placing order will not be considered. Please note Payment gateway charges via RazorPay/PayPal will be deducted from the order value refund.

  2. If you are not satisfied with the product quality after receiving it, you can return the product within 7 days. You need to bear the shipping charges for sending the product back to our location in India. Upon receiving the product from you, we will refund the amount. Please note the refund amount would be only for the products and not for the shipping charges incurred at the time of placing the order.

  3. Once we have received the products a quality check would be done by our team. Please make sure that the original product tag is intact when you courier it back to us.

  4. If you receive any defective, damaged or wrong product, please inform us within 24 hours of the receipt of the product by emailing us at jhaanpi.ethnic@gmail.com  with your Order ID and send us a snapshot of the defect. Please note we will not send any product replacement. 

  5. The International Shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  6. Due to the factors beyond our control, we, unfortunately, do not have an exchange policy for international customers. However, if you have a special case, we would be happy to discuss it over an email and arrive at a best effort solution. In the end, your satisfaction and delight is our prime motto.

  7. Please note that in case of shipping outside India, customs duties and local taxes may have to be paid by customers to our shipping partner at the time of shipment delivery. The amount of duties depends on the policies of your destination country. We are not responsible for any delays due to customs.

Tracking your order

Tracking details for any order are shared over email once the order is dispatched. Additionally, the customer will receive a SMS from our courier partners once the order is dispatched.
